Our second collaboration with Olderbrother and Lyle McGraw materialized a thoughtfully curated collection of clothing and furniture. Guided by Olderbrother’s “Hand-Me-Downs” concept, this collection emphasizes deconstruction, reassembly, and reinterpretation with Lyle McGraw’s signature details. Each item is created through the intentional reuse of excess material and waste, deconstructed, hand-dyed in shades of indigo, and meticulously sewn together.

The furniture collection utilizes centuries-old redwood from a barn in Northern California and responds to material and craft central to the California aesthetic and technique. The pieces incorporate hand-dyed indigo fabric, with hand-painted details of native flowers from Sunfish. The clothing and furniture are woven together through a specific caning pattern created exclusively for the collaboration.
