Lyle McGraw x Older Brother @ Colbo

On the occassion of Older Brother’s collaborative collection with Lyle McGraw at Colbo, we produced a unique spatial installation. The forms, influenced by scarecrows and martial arts dummies, reference human bodies. Paired with some of our signature furniture pieces, alongside a new daybed, and custom clothing racks, we thought about how to activate the space, our bodies, and the garments. 
 
In a like-mindedness to Older Brother, the pieces are all one-of-a-kind, naturally dyed (with persimmon), and celebrate the concept of re-use : situating some of our earliest furniture in a new context and using the wood shavings from the pine timbers we rounded by hand to create nests, sheltering our pieces and the collaboration.
